That Hitachi camera

It uses a 260MB PC card, not a hard drive. The software that it ships with seems pretty cool. You can manage the file system in the camera's PC card from your computer via the hard wire that attaches the camera to the computer.

I guess if you can afford the $2000 pricetag, battery expense is not that big a deal.
