Thanks mr. mark! I adjusted IE to check for default status every time, no problem.

When dealing with Netscape my results were different. First of all in the file ( C:\Programfiles\Netscape\Users\Profilename ) I went to the file Prefs.js as instructed and opened in notepad. Upon reading the entries I discovered that there was no line that read ( user_pref("browser.wfe.ignore_def_check",true) ) in order to change the command to false.

The line should have been at the top of the list as the commands appear in alphabetical order. There was an empty line between the first 2 lines at the top and the start of the command lines ( these lines basically said to not edit).

I inserted the line with the false command instead of true and then rebooted, however it did not work, however after rebooting several times it worked. I do not understand. I checked the file again and my editing wasn't there which I can basically understand, do you think that once IE became default browser and checks every time that it somehow forces Netscape to check?

Thanks again mr. mark :-)
