I don't mean the Iranian people carte blanche. Like any country, they produce brilliant people. I am speaking of a certain savage beast common to all Nations. This is our modern dilemma. We have the thoughts of wonderful humanitarians and ordinary people good and decent juxtaposed alongside the brutal magical thinking of fanatics. Our enemy (the enemy of our humanity) is not any one country. Rather, it is a certain adherent to magical thinking whom gathers to his own kind like wolves calling across the plains in the dark of the night. They hate the earth and they hate the grave. They find no beauty and no meaning here. Magical thinking is their God and their country. Nothing real abides here. The Supernatural is their reality and their destiny. Magical thinking is a psychiatric disorder. Unfortunately, it is a social disorder, as well. And something must be done...
