WOW, Big Bucks, I'm sure our fellow threaders (except perhaps those PE advocates who are still scratching their heads with a puzzled look wondering why AMAT continue to go up when it is supposed to go down) will be happy how an AMAT employee like you think about his company:

~$85 in Aug/Sept
~$65-70 in Oct/Nov
$110 in January 98,
Split in early March 98

Right, almost every year, the over-all market Falls in value sometime from late summer to early fall (as if in Falling Leaves). It is because Investors drive the Stock prices most of the summer so much that market corrects as the tax-selling season comes in Nov and Dec....As for the $110 target for January 1998, it's on par with the estimates of some of the conservatives in this thread.,,,As for the Split in March 1998---it's in line with those of other AMAT employees I've talked to!...
