I doubt it, it will use commodity processor chips such as 386s and 486s. With most of the net being bandwidth limited, there is little point in putting a high end expensive chip into each NC. QNX Software systems (a private company that markets a Real Time UNIX clone OS), has had a NC for about 500$ (no monitor) for over 1/2 a year. The OS is embedded in ROM, it uses a 386 I believe. All in all, very low end components.
