Alex Brown:
Q. Concern over outlook is that investors are worried about component shortgage forcing PC prices up. Will this affect CUBE?

A. Umesh said that CUBE does not derive significant revenues from the PC market. Consumer market is king. Plus, China is ramping up now. No material change in customer order patterns.

Banc Boston Robbie Stevens:
Q. Congrats on the Q. How does 4Q look.

A. Encouraged on 4Q and 1H2000 outlooks. Semi and system sales are strong. China seasonal sales will ramp while other sales ramp. China will remain 15-18%

Q. AB, can we expect high single digit growth for the next few quarters?
A. Lucy fumbles! AB hemmed & hawed and said he could not give quantitative direction, but things should be good.

Q. Is compression expertise applicable to other markets?
A. Lookabaugh - strong R&D programs in place to take advantage in markets. Expects to see competition and partnerships.

Q. Geography?
A. Umesh said that China is strong, beginning ramp-up in September.

Lehman:
Q. What about TV/Com acquisiiton?
A. Umesh - this is a tremendous acquisition. Will see products next year. Currewnt silicon content for settops is $15-18. Next year it will be $30 per box.

Q. Seasonality for Divi?
A. Some seasonality in 1Q because of lower capital expoenditures. But orders are large so deviations often do not show seasonality.

Next Analyst:

35%/65% product split

US 40%, Europe 15%, China 15%, Japan 12% -- Divi sales (or overall CUBE sales?)

VCD - Umesh said that transition to DVD is occurring in China. Also other CUBE product lines are diversifying in China. Will be more diversification in the future (Analyst said "great")
