Duh, you do understand the federal government can be responsible for providing power. This is a democracy. It can be responsible for anything if the people vote for it. And are you familiar with the Hoover dam and Tennessee Valley authority and interstate highway system? Those were federal projects and IS how our system operates. Trump should have had the pentagon helping Puerto Rico on day one! << Do you think the US is responsible for the power in Puerto Rico? Where the hell did you get THAT idea? This is a big part of the problem in this country. People simply don't understand how our system operates. The federal government is not responsible for providing power. That is a local problem.
