Good thing Mr. Watson was busting my chops a bit.

As I told him via PM, fixing the problem with Preview where URLs would be funky because the spellchecker saw typos in them has been on my to-do list for ages, but I've never dug in and done it because the function I thought I'd have to use had changed in .NET, and I barely understood it in classic ASP. But, as I also told him, this morning I had one of those typical (definitely for programmers, probably just as typical for everyone) moments where I wasn't thinking directly about the problem and the likely solution suddenly and unexpectedly jumped into my head.

I was so eager to see if the solution was correct that I suffered the pain of using Remote Desktop via barbed-wire-fence dialup to try it, and hopefully I've made some positive changes here without breaking anything.

Hopefully.

Tough to test every scenario, so if anyone uncovers a bug SPECIFIC to what I just changed (not things left to be done or new feature requests), please let me know as soon as possible and I'll try to get them squashed before the open Tuesday.

What's changed is that, in Preview, URLs should now be getting left alone by the spellchecker so they'll display correctly and you can shift-click them to test them and images should display in preview when you use the [ chart] tag.

If you encounter any of the following situations, please let me know ASAP:

1. URLs getting hosed in Preview or in the submitted message.
2. Images not displaying in Preview or in the submitted message.
3. Images in messages from last week that were displaying correctly then but aren't now.
4. Anything that was working correctly last week but is now broken, specifically anything related to writing and reading messages.

Again, I've got Michal Daniels' handily-summarized list Kept as a reminder of work remaining to be done regarding the chart tags, so I won't need reminding that those aren't done yet.

Edit: I don't know if this part is a fortunate accident or if it's something I fixed earlier, but I just noticed that when you edit a message, the original [ chart] format shows up in the edit screen.
