My take from anecdotal survey: Large manufacturers have slowed production due to the upcoming election. Inventory is being sold down, hours are being cut and people are being furloughed. Seems political risk is higher than usual to the Fortune 1000 C-suite, although this happens every election season to some extent. I call it the election recession .
