Hitesh,
When I see posts like your last one... well.... I just can't shut up. The momentum is BACK BABY !!! Closing on the high for a Friday. Aint seen that for while.
Yes, it would appear we're having a good run :)
Am hearing from within the company that ATM and Frame Relay orders are very very very very strong. Especially CBX500 and GX550.
Yes, I have no doubt they are. Beginning in the April quarter many carriers started buying big again. I assure you that this purchase behaviour is positively effecting all the networkers. This came through in the Cisco conference call.
Cisco marketing and sales charm can work on Enterprise customers but when it comes to carriers its not end-to-end solutions but performance and reliability. Else they would be busy writing apologetic letters to customers and refunding money like AT&T.
Are you implying...well know, I guess you're SAYING, that Cisco has performance and reliability problems. Present the data on the performance numbers (not a publiciation tests, they're worthless and biased), and tell me why ASND's products (which were actually catching on fire in CO's) are better. The point is all products have problems, and vendors learn. That's where we are in this industry....it's a brave new world. We're pushing the envelope every day...hell...every hour! ASND, BAY, COMS, INTC,..they'll all have embarrasments along the road. The question is how will these companies handle them when they happen. I think Cisco has done well. Why do I say this>>>?
INTC, DELL, ASND all closing on their highs.
So too is Cisco... In fact, Cisco has been traking ahead of ASND for the last 20 days...mainly due to the earnings announcment.
What a finish. Hope no one throws cold water in after hours or on the weekend.
We agree on that!!! Go infrastructure build out!!!
