Dave, I'm with you. I have seen positive stories in the news about
Iomega's results. Iomega is listed as an upside surprise in one listing. The question is, will the Motley Fool and SI chat rooms cause a temporary sell off? Will the investors that follow the analysts buy up the shares since the results look positive. The expenses are down, the revenues are up, the first call estimates were beaten, and the profit margins are up. Even the P/E ratio will be the lowest it has been in a year. Even though the after market activity doesn't look good, it doesn't mean that there will be a sell off tomorrow. When CNBC had the short seller on who announced Iomega was overvalued even though the earnings estimates would be beaten, the after market price dropped a couple of points. But Iomega actually opened up higher and took off. That doesn't mean there won't be a short term sell off based on fear, but if there is one, we on SI and Motley Fool will be to blame. Iomega's results look great to the non-internet investor.
