Now, if you were the CIO of a multi million$ company, would you bet your biz on LINUX, hoping that the service community will be there to rescue ? How long will it take before linux has decent cluster features, giving that the open source folks don't really care about ? Do you really believe that SAP, ORCL,... are paying more than just lip service ? In short, we may be moving to a service environmnent but we are still living in one of MUSCLES, where mainframes are alive and well... and by the way if you recall the anti-trust case against big-blue, I heard their team of lawyers was LARGER than one ENTIRE plaintiff organization. So what makes you think it's going to be different with Microsoft ?
