Could the NC represent one of "paranoid Andy's" inflection points?

Two months ago Gates and Grove were bashing the NC (like many others
on this thread). I won't name names.

Now MSFT and INTC are embracing it? Talk about an "about face"!

What gives?

Is this a reactionary move? Or are we seeing the beginning of
a major paradigm shift?

Too early to tell perhaps. But remember...COST RULES.
