Thats great... I'm normally an open source kind of a guy (on principle) but with Angular4/5, Firebase, and Material design.... and everything including hosting by Google being free... I decided to get in bed with Google cos they have an end to end solution and where Google is, my Ap will be....very compelling combo.

Facebook (React) is the only competition.... but I think Google is has the technical vision. AAPL is a no show. Why develop anything to release to 15% of the global market.... a majority of which are kids...
