Elmatador take on a cleaner Malaysia:

Malaysia was stable for 22 years. Faces around the
table didn't change. Now they will. Until the re-
arrangement around the table is completed; a big part of the economy slows down considerably,
since the financing for deals will dry up until the
chairs around the table are occupied and the winners
have faces and names.

Deals sponsored by late administration are cancelled to be
later revived under new ownership and their success claimed by the new administration. This new
administration will stop inherited deals in the name of reasons
that goes down well by the press for the general public
consumption (cleanness, openness, competitiveness).

A few arms are twisted here and there to show the new
government is being serious about and that will
dissuade the ones in the losing side of the deals,
being too vocal. They have too many skeletons in their own
cupboards. A well published arrest on improbity
grounds go a long way to quiet down anyone who would
harbor ideas of being a bad loser. That phase passed, Malaysia will move as it has done before since the DNA of the country has not been changed and the country is still Malaysia.
