In your first couple of paragraphs, what are you talking about? Again, my point was that the Teutonic tribes, although gaining in civilization, did not perfectly leave barbarity behind. Thus, it is hard to judge how much can be attributed to Christianity, and how much to residual barbarism.
Your third paragraph is hardly worth answering, but I will. Whether you think that apparent design is a result of random permutations or not, it cannot be proven that it is so, and may, therefore, as well be a result of Mind. Anything that is reasonable to believe is rational.
Again, your fourth paragraph is not worth much trouble. There is plenty of evidence, at worst it is inconclusive.
A lot of people go to hospitals, colleges, and other institutions sponsored by religious denominations and experience no pressure to convert.
I guess I think it is not worth my time to look for a comparison of AA with other treatments. Since you are making the claim that AA is over- rated, I should wait for you to substantiate it. |
