I may be wrong but you are assuming a logic to how databases are used that involves a large corporate viewpoint. Certainly it is the way to do things right and certainly many of Novell's larger customers do it this way. And those are significant and important sales.

BUT the reality out there is chaos, there are millions of 3.X customers doing databases just the way I described. Among small business Novell customers I would bet you it is the rule. These are where the sales are going to come from to put Novell back on track.

So Jack to put Novell back on track there has to be a strategy to sell these customers. Call it IntranetWare for the masses.

I guess my PC background enables me to more easily understand these customers. I know Gates understands exactly what I am referring to.
