As in dialogue, grammar rules don't have to be as tight on headstones

... especially when each letter is likely to cost about $20, not including the cost of a larger tombstone to accommodate additional letters, if needed. Did she use her middle name "Annette"? Did she want her first husband's and her second husband's (he died at 53 the same year they married) surname on the tombstone? Or, perhaps more important, did her family? It may have been a trade-off, and as someone who wasn't part of her situation, there's no way for me to know.

Cute headstone, either way ;-)
