One of the more upsetting things for me is reading the book, Blinded BY The Right and learning first hand about the machinations of politics. IT's a terrible blight the civil war that exists between the right and the left... Just re reading about the history about which I know and learning the behind the scenes crap that went on. After the cold war the Conservatives... Republicans needed an agenda.. And after going after the homeless,gays,unwed mothers,...the moral majority agendas.... ANYWAY, it would appear to me that 9/11 was a great opportunity for the party to mobilize everyone and here we are... in a war that is going nowhere...and where more human being have been killed than was ever predicted. In fact, it's mess and every day I fear more that we are going into a 3rd world war as the latest scandal to my way of thinking has precluded the Muslum world from every accepting what we called Democracy. It has a bad taste now if it hadn't previously. I would never want to to be president now in the face of this mess. I cannot believe that anyone would want the job. Maybe Bush should stay and take all the repercussions of his actions and those of his cronies... Destestable bunch to my way of thinking.
