"Anyone who believes that Republicans really want smaller government is living in a fantasy world." For perhaps the first time I agree with you. That simple fact is the reasons why the dems now control the house and senate and may win in November. Sadly, one can rest assure in 4 years it will be clear that government by Harry, Nancy and Barack will dwarf Republican spending. I used to say on to 2010. I now believe McCain can credibly run on this issue and win. The failure of Republicans to govern as Republicans is very sad to me. Bob
