I was talking with a buddy of mine who designs UAVs (TV's brother Matt). I asked him about the downed UAV in Iran.

He says that there is no doubt that there has been more than one UAV lost in Iran. He laughed at the idea that some college kid could have 1. hijacked the UAV's signal and 2. that even if they had broken the radio signal, that someone without significant training could control, let alone land the UAV intact

(one of the UAVs that he designed is on display at the smithsonian)
