Twister,
Rates of growth on server OS should be looked at in actual dollar terms rather than percentages. It's very easy to grow off of a small base! When I was wholesaling a particularly difficult wine brand, we pointed to 1000% growth year over year. That was easy when our base was 500 cases!!! NT is indeed raging ahead on the lower end of the server market, but look at the fat profits being made by SUNW on their server sales.
Solaris isn't going away anytime soon, and the rush of consumer thin-client devices (especially PDA's using Java technology) are only just beginning. It's like the heady, early days of DOS computing...
Eagerly awaiting your revalation of true identity! Bad Bill's long lost half-brother looking for a piece of the family fortune perhaps...? ;-)

Cheers,

Peter Shaw
