Exrinction of the aborigines in Australia, New Zealand, in the US and in Canada and elsewhere in the world is not likely to happen because Diabetes I and Diabetes II are quite well-understood diseases and drugs for treating these diseases are readily available and not that expensive. Furthermore, advances in DNA and RNA research hold out promise of effective treatment and cure in the foreseeable future!

Whereas Diabetes I could become deadly and fatal with time, Diabetes II which affects the majority of people is generally quite easy to hold at bay with an assortment of drugs ranging from Metformin to Avandia and other sulfonyl compounds as well as the Chinese herbal formulation of Yu Xiao San 8805 and the Indian Ayurvedic Gur Kumar (Gymnema Sylvestre). To be sure, regular exercise and a diet regimen
(low in carbohydrates and candies and sweet pop drinks and ice creams) and abstinence from alcohol, and drinking apple cider vinegar and copious amounts of water will help immensely.

So, given a little education regarding the causes and ravages of diabetes and applying conscientiously the treatments that are available, diabetics worldwide should be able to extend their individual lifespans by many years. But, of course, this is easier said than done!
