Stephen; Thats it game over. The idea they want to kill the clones and then spin doctor it is Jobshit all over again. There will be some hard head banging by IBM/Motorola that might change Apple. If the OS is for sale retail why not write a BIOS and then make clones that are not certified, but run all programs, like the first Wintels were. I am not sure if this could be done as the BIOS is more complex that the IBM one, but it should be doable, and might be Powers default position. Nobody gets IBMs permission to make a clone. Why should you need Apple if you can buy the OS.
