I believe that the target is slow growth.

At this time Mutual fund inflows are about at the rate of 500 million per week. The fed is adding cash to our system at the rate of ~1 billion per day.

In true supertanker style, the market is being nudged into the slow growth status.

The rounded top structure seems to me like an overshoot of an attempt to achieve this.

In other words we be back to the trading range that you were referring to before.
