Spots I VERY STRONGLY recommend you hold it where you are and get thoroughly familiar with your system Sounds like prudent advise. I'm really not as cavalier in these windows OSs as I might sound. I'm actually pretty intimidated by NT...but I would never admit to that here <g> Zp s advise was the same. No other partitions unless there's good reason. in spite of that UPS you have, right Right :-) Do you have a backup strategy for your data? Welllll....... I have the strategy but not the hardware yet.. Make those recovery disks; make those boot disks; make those DOS bootables; rah, rah, rah! Drudgery.. drudgery<g> Seriously.....when your right you're right. I'll get that stuff going, I promise:-) Clarence
