We've discussed consequences of a highly unlikely splitup in the MSFT thread lately and, I agree (as a heavy-in-MSFT investor) that a splitup of the company would be great for the stock, but I think it would be horrible for AOL. If it spit, one of the baby-softs would surely stage a frontal assault on AOL. (And to emphasize this: MSFT ain't gonna do that... not gonna happen.)
