Good point Allen. I agree that emails and private messages are "off limits" and should not be shared without permission from the sender. Isn't that the whole point of sending an email or a private message? - to communicate with just that person? If people think their emails and/or private messages will be shared that could mean the end of such communication. I know if I think someone doesn't respect that and may share such communication with someone else, I won't send it! Dan made a good point. If someone, anyone, has actual and verifiable information *that should be known to all*, it should be shared with all. Fully and completely - no hints or baits or half-truths.
