Bashers --- dysfunctional behavior.... If one was to think through all the possible motivations for this type of bashing, yelling, and general rudeness, you could not find one that is nobel. So try as hard as it might to rationalize this dysfunctional behavior, there is no acceptable conclusion other than yours. The writing is on the wall for all to see. But what is the CAUSE of the dysfunctional behavior? I've narrowed it down to a few: 1) Greed - most people like this post to take money from others... they bash to drop the price. It is extremely unethical and illegal. Not that the SEC would care as it is prevalent everywhere. But this person still has to live with themselves. Wouldn't want to be in their shoes on judgment day. People like this usually place too much emphasis on material things and have empty souls. 2) Loneliness - could be that people like this really just want the attention and this is the only way they know how to get it. It's a sad statement of a deprived childhood. In this case, the individual should be pitied for a short time and then helped. 3) Anger - a person like this could be angry that they were played the fool... they might have lost money and now seek revenge. I've no doubt that the individual in question is deep in the red and probably quite hostile. Probably never made a good investment in its life. Unfortunately, the anger is turned on innocents that where it truly belongs.. steered towards itself... the person who made bad investments to begin with. 4) Mental illness - there truly are those who are delusional and don't have a grasp on reality. Since no one knows who anyone is on the internet, we can never really know for sure. Can anyone think of other motivations for bashing and other public dysfunctional behavior? Mayor
