Phillip; What bombing? My valid suggestions are heartfelt and valid inputs for the good of Apple. I have no interest in bombing Apple. The past managers need a few bombs. I have a true affection for Apple, and I am only critical of what I feel are errors in management, and I offer projected management pathways to solve the problem. I get quite a few who agree and also who disagree, but do not think I am on any kind of bombing run.
I have no interest in Sun, HP etc. They make their own pathways and Sun will soon have to adjust it's pathways.
Do not forget that Apple has been on a long downward slide with no effective management for many years. Those that think all is well, and we are OK, are wrong. Apple is in peril. Do you wait until the bow dips down and you are half over the waterfall before you act??. The lead time for management decision is such that whatever they new group does will take a year to come into effect, and in that time the slide may be halted and reversed in Apples sales. If not, what next?
Will we have this discussion a year from now and Apple is worse off ? or better? Time will tell, and time is what Apple is fast running out of.

Bill
