Good evening all,
I haven't had a chance to read this forum this week until tonight so I didn't know
about the hiring of Paul Hoessner (but I was aware of the other news releases).
Coincidentally, I telephoned the company this afternoon to talk to Bill Carraway.
The man answering the phone introduced himself as Paul Hoessner. I hadn't heard
his name before so I asked him what his role with the company was. He made a
reference to overseeing operations. When he informed me that Bill had left for the
day I chatted with him for a while.

We discussed the new 10,000 sq. ft. building being built in North Charleston. He
said it will be beneficial because in addition to moving the operation indoors the
building will have a classroom and this will make it very convenient to give students
hands-on training along with the classroom instruction. He indicated the company was
going to put an emphasis on cross-training of employees. This cross-training should
add flexibility and stability to their day-to-day operations.

Paul indicated he was a shareholder prior to being hired. In fact, being a shareholder
is how he met Bill. I could sense throughout the discussion that Paul was excited
about the upcoming challenges and being a part of this story. He seemed somewhat
hesitant at times to share information with me but with his current status this is quite
understandable. He was candid with me in that he had no previous background in petroleum
refining and that he had spent time at the library learning about it. My impression of
Paul is that he seems to be analytical and comes across to me as having good common sense.

He was quite nice about talking with me and asked if he would be meeting me next week.
Unfortunately the timing is not good because I start a new job in another division of my
company in 2 days. I mentioned to him I would most likely call back in the coming days
to talk to Bill.

On a side note, I think it would be quite appropriate for GRNO to issue a press release
about Paul joining the company.
