Mary, I have to agree with you on this issue. I heard Obama's comments and was appalled.....don't know how he couldn't have known that it would come off as a complement of Reagan and a diss of Clinton.

I don't know his motives nor do I care. Maybe he was pandering or maybe he was getting ticked off at Bill and thought he'd give a little jab.....or both.

I'll happily vote for Obama regardless, but Hillary grows in my estimation of her. Watching the SC debates, I thought she ran circles around Obama. I pictured her negotiating on behalf of US interests and felt like we'd be in good hands with her. Like her or not, she's tenacious, prepared, and won't give an inch when arguing her point.

After the debates I found myself wondering whether or not Obama is ready for prime time.
