Inode, I find it funny that those saying Social Security is "solid" are the same people who think trillions of dollars of deficit spending is just fine as long as it's a liberal who's doing it.

It is a good point.

The extent to which SS is "solid" or "not so solid" is a fairly objective thing. We know what the numbers are.

But we have Mr. Analytical, himself (CJ), here trying to claim that liabilities aren't liabilities because someone chooses not to tell the public about them.

And we have others acting as though the liability doesn't exist at all.

The one common thread is the liberalism.

Never let a good, objective analysis get in the way of a liberal's desire to support the party.
