The reason is I have the hard drives from my two previous computers on this one. I still haven't bought one of the new mega-drives. Two of these disks have three partitions (each partition gets its own letter) and one disk has two partitions. So that's eight drives plus a floppy and a CDROM for 10 total. My CDROM is K: . 3 HDD's is really too much as it makes a mess with the cables (with IDE at least). If I get the 18GB Western Digital I'll have on one disk more than twice what I have now on three.

The search in Regedit is kinda finicky. I tried saving a Wordpad document and it wanted to put it in My Documents. So I went back and searched again in regedit for more instances of My Documents and found a few more. Now Wordpad saves to Deskuments too.

If you backup the registry first there's really little danger (FLW).
