As good as the case the Impeachment Managers made in the Senate, I agree with those here that have said that it is very unlikely that they will convict Trump. The only thing I am hoping for is that more Republican Senators vote for impeachment than voted to let the trial go forward. If the case that the Managers laid out can't convince them to be patriotic and look at country over party, I don't think anything will. I just hope that a good number of those that voted against Impeachment in the House and those that will vote against it in the Senate will be defeated in the next election cycle. I think Biden is doing a good job of holding their feet to the fire on COVID related things. If they vote against the COVID stuff out of partisan politics, it will make them look bad to their constituents. Unfortunately, as seen with the lying Lindsey interviews on Fox News, as long as they have Fox to go on and spout their views uncontestedly, they have a good chance of getting re-elected.
