You have a good point daaaan, and don't think Zucco isn't well aware of the Sell-job that may still be needed with the "happy" Shareholders who became Voteholders.
The revenues were awful.
The market AS USUAL KNEW AHEAD of time....Why else was this thing trading at 3...? The poor souls that were kicking this thing out at 2 7/8 had it right all along.
You have a networking company losing market share in a rising growth industry.
DiB is right also, 181mm for 157mm company is normally a rip-off.
But Shiva must have turned down offers in the past...and maybe now had to save whatever face they had left once the egg was removed from it.
Maybe the remaining original engineers will jump ship and Intel won't have as much as they bargained for.
I still don't know where the NO votes are going to come from.
Poor SWIB ! All that time they spent pressing Shiva to not Re-Price options, even after they had already done it.
I wonder how they might vote. How happy can they be with a 890,000 share position with a cost basis which is a lot north of 6 bucks.
Shiva really knew how to "make friends and influence people" !!
