but you failed to answer my question... have the 4 or 5 major oil companies been getting closer together or further apart? i'd heard that they were making merger-type moves yet it was going unnoticed by the doj. again if i'm mistaken i stand corrected, but your post doesn't seem to indicate which, one way or the other. andy
