This is reminiscent of the 1980-1984 period in Virginia.

Many non-Hispanics worked diligently to give support to the first wave of Hispanics
to settle in Northern Virginia in the 1970's and 1980's.

These were the legal immigrants-----these early immigrants were educated and intelligent and dedicated to the Republican philosophy of government and continue to be today.

They participated in the Reagan election in numerous roles------voter identification drives-----Chairman of local Precincts and District Chairman as well as becoming delegates to the State and National Conventions.

Gingrich knows that the early Hispanic speaking immigrants were vital to bringing in the election for Ronald Reagan not only in Northern Virginia but nationwide as well as for President George Bush in 2000.

If Gingrich is the Presidential Nominee or the Vice Presidential Nominee I have no doubt that those early legal immigrants will be there for him and the Republican Party just as they were for Reagan-----and carry their influence to other American citizens.

Let's see what happens in Florida.
