MJ...........all of what you write is news to me and encouraged me to doing some research about the group that endorsed Newt Gingich, the Hispanic Republican group-Somos Republicans. Firstly because I am not familiar with that group, and secondly because I wanted to learn about their position on each of the candidates. What I read about what they had to say about Mitt Romney is (once again) disturbing. And now I understand why Jeb Bush is remaining mum on any endorsements and why this National Hispanic republican group has endorsed Newt Gingrich.

Just from what little I read about John Tanton (who I have never heard of before today) and "White Nationalism", it is understandable why Mitt Romney doesn't stand a chance of getting the Hispanic vote.

ARIZONA HISPANIC REPUBLICANS

"Hispanic Republicans to Jeb Bush: If any bad blood then put aside and endorse Newt Gingrich
by President of Somos A. Bustos on Jan. 21, 2012, under Latino Get Out the Vote for 2012, Latino Republicans Vocal Against Unconstitutional laws and harm towards our economy, Secure Borders and Reasonable Immigration Solution

Arizona based SOMOS REPUBLICANS, the largest Hispanic Republican group in the nation recently endorsed Newt Gingrich over Mitt Romney because Romney stated he would veto the DREAM Act. Since then Latino Republicans have promised to veto Mitt Romney at the polls.

Jeb Bush and the Bush family should forget about any past possible bad blood with Newt Gingrich for the sake and for the future of the Republican Party. If Jeb endorses Mitt Romney who recently stated he would veto the DREAM Act, he will be viewed as a hypocrite and as a man who is treating Latinos like a political football. Both parties can no longer underestimate the political intelligence of the Latino community. Mitt Romney recently received the endorsement of Kris Kobach who has ties to the John Tanton network and white nationalists and since he stated he would veto the DREAM Act, Latinos will veto Mitt Romney at the polls.

Mitt Romney has an anti-Latino history when he stated that all undocumented immigrants should go back to where they came from.

Mr. RomneyCare cannot defeat ObamaCare. Mitt Romney gave his oath to protect a woman's right to choose MULTIPLE times. It would be a mistake for Jeb to endorse Mr. RomneyCare who takes an isolationist and protectionist approach towards immigrants and ignores the economic contributions immigrants bring to the State of Florida.

According to the Christian Post:

Hispanic Republicans: Romney's Immigration Stance Lacks Christian Compassion

By Stephanie Samuel | Christian Post Reporter

Mitt Romney's attempts to woo conservatives with tough immigration rhetoric is drawing the party away from its compassionate conservative values, said a Hispanic Republican group.

Dee Dee Garcia, founder and past president of Somos Republicans, said Romney is not a true conservative Republican.

His past as a pro-choice governor, the creator of a statewide health care mandate that was the blueprint for Obamacare and now a firm opponent of a pathway to citizenship for America's 12 million plus illegal immigrants puts him out of touch with conservative values, Garcia said.

Steve Rodriguez, vice president of Somos Republicans, said Gingrich has strong connections to the Hispanic community that pre-dates the 2012 GOP presidential race. The former speaker created two websites, one in 2004 and the other in 2009, to engage the Hispanic community. Rodriguez also said Gingrich has a number of Latino campaign workers, including himself.

"He has a history of reaching to the Hispanic community and speaking out to their needs," he commented.
