Ben, look what I found in that link to The Onion. People can now read The Onion on their pdQ, mobile phone or other PDA gadget: mobile.theonion.com That's the sort of thing which will make 3G super popular.
In a queue in a supermarket, people will just pull out their pdQ and catch up with the news, their shares, The Onion, email and their banking. Siers will check into Write What You Like for the latest on CDMA from around the world.

John, that was a giggle. You must have a really low opinion of the Catholic church to have been sucked into believing that Onion satire. You must think them capable of thinking and saying the most absurd things.
That's understandable when they claim to believe the things they say they believe, which are so absurd that it's hard to imagine that they take them seriously. But they do and in the 100s of millions, though when we look at conception rates in Catholic families, they take their papal encyclicals with a grain of salt, or perhaps the sexual activity in marriage is less than the priestly sexual activity with the choir boys.
Italy for example, which is mostly Catholic, has one of the world's lowest reproduction rates. Which means the rumoured sexual prowess of Italian males is another example of all hat and no cattle. Or maybe all bark and no bite. Or maybe the ladies are creating problems for zygotes. Whatever the reason, they are certainly not breeding like bunnies. I think the Papal decrees are being ignored quite widely.
When we look at the funny ladies' clothes the men wear, with silly hats and stuff, it's not surprising that such transvestite behaviour is correlated with odd sexual behaviour. |
