There's very little correlation between the prior experience of a President and how well he does in office. Besides, if McCain were handling the economy, we really probably would have Phil Gramm at the Treasury. He wrote the worst deregulation rules...

I'd say McCain fighting communists and Obama being a marxist does have a correlation to the disaster you've elected with Obama's four year tax cheat raiding the treasury.
