Tom,

Specifically, what Oracle products are you having problems with? The database (7.3) is incredibly solid and Developer 2000 (at least client/server wise) is finally starting to shine. I can give you pages of information about problems with the Java Forms cartridge, but it's common knowledge that that is not ready for prime time yet (especially since no browsers can really run it anyway without patches).

The quality of products that I have been using in recent years (server, tools, etc. I don't do much with the applications end) has been much better than what I had to deal with in prior releases (back to DB version 4 and the pre-gui forms and reporting tools - IAF and RPT). I'm very interested in knowing what other people think are buggy products coming out of Oracle.

No - I am not, have never been, and never will be (I hope) an employee of Oracle Corp.

- Michael
