Fred, Harry, all,

The CEO of CompUSA is scheduled to be on CNBC this morning, and I wonder what he will say about Soloman's analysis of his companies prospects. I have a feeling that he won't agree 100% (g).

In rereading the artilcle this morning, I believe it is a lot of double talk. The only information which sounded like he might know what he is talking about was that sales were soft for the last two weeks, big deal. They didn't change any of their earnings est., or their recs. If things are bad, why not rec. hold or sell?

I continue to be amazed by the emphasis computer makers and retailers put on low priced computers. The comsumer has demonstrated that their preference is for at least a mid range system. ALL these guys still think the consumer wants a $1000 machine, and they never sell.

I'll try to catch the CompUSA interview.

John
