BTW.. crainsny.com Red Cross in NY The American Red Cross in Greater New York announced an agreement to sell its headquarters facility for $72 million to 150 Amsterdam Avenue Holdings, a private New York family real estate investor. The group hopes to move to a more technologically advanced facility and to invest the proceeds from the sale in additional resources, says Theresa Bischoff, the group’s chief executive. The organization plans to occupy a new location by late 2005. Until then, it will continue to operate out of its current facility at 150 Amsterdam Ave. They really do well for themselves don't they?
