1st to do what you suggest of testing out of a full semester, you're probably talking the top~20% at best. 2nd while eliminating G-Ed requirements seems worthwhile, I found value in a lot of them. I will to this day fully appreciate many of those courses I took. AND, rather than taking a full load engineering curriculum for the semester, which would have been enough to cause you to find the highest library stack building and jumping off, it was nice some semesters to have that course slotted in there. Go to school during the summer and you have an engineering degree in TWO YEARS. We don't have to take all the fun out of the college/university experience do we. While yes, there are a few that could finish in 2 years, but at what value? Not a very well rounded person IMO. Jim
