Careful with stocks that popped on Thursday- many stock purchase plans lock in employees on the last day of Dec- I have noticed that many small to midsize companies pop on the day the employees are locked in. This effectively ensures employees don't get huge discounts on their stock. Don't ask me why it happens- but I've seen it happen, over and over again.
