In Britain’s Telegraph, Adam Nicholson laments the slaughter of innocents in Beslan, managing to write an in-depth article without mentioning a single important fact about the perpetrators of the atrocity. It’s as if all those people died in an earthquake; the word <font color=blue>“kill”<font color=black> does not even appear:

<font color=blue>Beslan meant nothing to us; now it’s a by-word for wickedness.
