My vision is fine and I've always had dogs and probably always will. Horses however are also entering the ranks of service animals for the blind. A visually impaired woman (Tabitha Darling) in Fort Worth goes grocery shopping with her full sized horse, but I went to the stock show parade there a couple of weeks ago and there was over ten thousand horses in the parade. Fort Worth is a lot different than Dallas. Tabatha's horse is still pretty unique, but more people are picking up on the idea of miniature horses for service animals and they do live longer than dogs.
