You'd be really hard pressed to show that as a percentage, 2nd term abortion is even very large. The study I saw was for PA listed 12% compared with 83% in the first. "Abortion on demand" makes it sound like fast food, which is just not accurate.

This leaves 5% in the third and medical necessity probably dominates for those. Most people don't wait and wait some more on this. The decision should be encouraged to be as rapid as possible, before ova implant, preferably the same day as conception. The people that are fighting RU-486 are increasing the harm. Many people wait until they miss their second period and wouldn't if there was a non-surgical alternative.
