Late Friday, Bloomberg reported that WorldCom would buy Compuserve
for $1.2b in stock, to be voted on by HRB board Sunday. The companies have not yet confirmed.

A WCOM all stock deal would be stunning judgment by HRB of the valuation of AOL, which offered at least $1b in stock, and reportedly even attempted to sweeten with cash from Bertelsmann. Of note is that negotiations made HRB privy to AOL financial and operational details not made public by AOL (even in SEC filings).
